Lila is a senior citizen who recently moved from Halifax to a retirement facility in a small town north of Montreal. While living in Halifax, Lila aways had a cat or cats in her life. However, her new accommodation does not allow pets. Lila misses a feline companion and reached out to a relative on Galiano, a long-time Rest.Q member. Desperate for a “cat connection” she asked if she could financially adopt a cat from Rest.Q. Lila is now the adoptive mother to Kit Kat, who lives on Mayne Island, and Lila will make monthly donations towards her care. Thank you to Lila for her support of Rest.Q and we cannot wait for her to meet Kit Kat.
