Salt Spring Cat Orphanage is a small volunteer run rescue, relying on donations and fundraising efforts to fund its programs. The rescue is operated by Karen Tottman, a long time islander with a passion for cat rescue. She has fostered over 70 cats and kittens with the Salt Spring SPCA and 30 since the formation of Salt Spring Cat in 2021.
